Nanjing University offered folk arts courses

150-odd college students were learning to weave grasshoppers with palm
leaves from Henan folk artist Mr. Ma Dexiang on Oct. 24, in the classroom
of Pukou campus of Nanjing University. From this year, Nanjing University
started an optional course on folk customs and folk arts, and invited
talented folk artists to give lectures. Such courses are very popular
among the students.
