Shanghai citizens paid a special visit to the coast of East China Sea for
a close view of the Donghai Bridge in spring, a perfect season for outing
in the countryside, on April 10. At the "portside new city" opposite
Yangshan Deep Water Port, one can see the magnificent Donghai Bridge. The
32.5-kilometer-long Donghai Bridge is the first real sea-crossing bridge
in China at present and extends to the Yangshan Deep Water Port Area on
the Little Yangshan Island in Zhejiang Province's Shengsi County.
