"One hundred Chinese beauties" carving

Famous stone carving master Lin Jiajun from Suzhou City and several
hundreds of craftsmen spent ten years carving out a picture named "one
hundred Chinese beauties". These pretty women include the weaving girl,
the goddess in the moon, Goddess of Sky-patching, Xi Shi, Wang Zhaojun
and Diao Chan (the last three belong to the Four Ancient Chinese
Beauties). This artwork consumed 24 tons of gems and boulders, and the
silk skirt of Empress Wu Zetian on the 56th picture was inlaid with
400-odd gems alone. The carving was once valued at 200 million RMB (US$25
million).
