Yichang held the 2nd Three Gorges Royal Tea Art Festival in Taiji Tea
House located in the downtown on Dec. 20. Tea artists in the costume of
Qing Dynasty (1616-1911AD) princess skillfully demonstrated Taiji royal
tea ceremony in front of tourists and presented cups of "Grand Red Robe"
and "Iron Kwan-yin" (names of tea) with inexhaustible aftertaste to
guests. Royal tea was once offered for Qing emperors and imperial
ministers and requires daintiness in terms of origin and brands of tea
and skills of tea making.
