"Seniors in our village no longer have to worry that they don't have
places to visit," said the aged Li Yun delightedly while playing cards in
Jiahuzhuang Village in Shantang Town of Henan's Jun County on Feb. 21.
The village has invested more than 100,000 RMB (US$12,330) to establish
an activity center, which could accommodate 60-odd people, for the
elderly in the village to have fun. The center opens to seniors for free
during the daytime.
