To celebrate the anniversary of Guanyin entering into Buddhism, the
organizing committee of the celebrative activities in Hainan's Haikou
City organized a special large-scale light show themed the Buddha Light
Illuminating All and recurred a grand consecration ceremony. On the
evening of Oct. 21, over 1,000 Buddhists and tourists hurrahed at the
sight of the amazing light show cited as the most glamorous in Asia,
which created a unique, perfect, solemn and dreamlike picture of the
"Buddha Land in the sea and sky" with flickering lights.
