Float parade interprets Chongqing's fire-fighting history

Nov. 9 was the fifteenth "119 Fire Fighting Day" and also the 100th
anniversary of Chongqing's fire fighting. Chongqing police fire fighting
bureau held a float parade to commemorate the 100th anniversary of
Chongqing's fire fighting and to promote the Fire Fighting Day. Both
ancient and modern fire fighting tools showed up in the float parade.
Pictured, firemen in clothing of the early years after the liberation
were showing the fire control tools in the 1950's.
