Guangzhou citizen Liang Bingji is a Chinese chess enthusiast. He
possesses Chinese chesses made of various materials, including wood,
bamboo, ivory and agate. Among his collection, a set of pictographic
Chinese chess made of jade is his favorite. Each chessman is carved in a
pictographic way, with the character on the base. The exquisite
workmanship is quite rare. When the chess was made is still unclear, but
relevant expert estimated that the chess has a 300-year history.
